have you always wondered if you are part of a social system where when you do something different then you are classed as a outcast or the weirdo and you always end up as the people laugh at?

This is what humans are. As long as you are not the norm then you are the outcast. This cause many many maaaanny social situations where you are left out in certain things just because you dress weird or you talk weird or you dont talk at all.

Some of the older generation always think that we are disobedient when we dont want to do the things that they wants us to do. Comparing you to other people or worse of all profile you as the bad one or the useless one just because you dont want to follow their style or you do things your own way. They will use the "rude" la, "uncontrollable" la, or the most notable one of all "this one bad la... not respect at all"... errrr hello?? Respect is earned and not by asking!

Who are you to judge us based on this? Are you the human community judge? NO! YOU DO NOT HAVE THE RIGHT TO TELL ME WHAT TO DO!

This are just a few songs to kick off the rebellious nature that we have in us! enjoy!!

A TRIP UP BUKIT GASING - a tale of how much my life has changed

Last Saturday after meeting with my friend for lunch, on my way back I decided to drive up to Bukit Gasing just to check it out. Its been years since I went up even though I see it every single day when I come out from my house. When I got up there and there was a few cars chilling there and when I parked my car, I was somehow surprised how run down the place was. The paint on the benches are all faded out, the place was littered with plastic bags and left over food. I wanted to sit on one of the bench and realised there was rotten banana skins all over it.

What has happened to this wonderful place? It looked like a forgotten place. This place was once a hot spot for local movie drama. With the view of PJ as the background. But now the trees is over grown, the bushes is growing out and there was clearly no maintenance whatsoever. But I still found a decent clean bench to sit down and enjoy the green and the cool breeze. As I sat there, out of the silence the sound of a motorbike rips through the sound of nature and suddenly an uneasy and insecure feeling stricken all over me. The first thought was, is it a snatch thief? or some mat rempit!

I turned and saw a couple in their 40s. Perhaps they also came up to relive their dating days or just wanna enjoy the view of PJ.

This was where I wonder how much time has changed since the last time I came up here. Coming up to Bukit Gasing brought back alot of memory. I was literally drenched with memories. I use to go up Bukit Gasing every Sunday when I was a kid. Me, dad, mom and sis would wake up at 6am and we will walk from my house all the way up. It will take us around 20 minutes to reach to the peak, just in time to see sunrise.

My dad will then take us go hiking up certain trails. The view was spectacular and there was this particular part next to the communication tower, where we climb up and there it was a concrete platform that has a piece of metal plate on top showing a "Y" symbol where it shows where is north. If you walk further up you can see the whole of KL. Then the view was without the Twin Towers or the KL Tower. The only obvious building was the Dayabumi and the Maybank building. Then we will come back down and head to the opposite of the road and we would climb up this area where we will reach a cliff. At the cliff we would be able to see PJ areas like section 14 to Section 17 area. Then we would walk back down and head to Devi Curry house to have our breakfast.

FLASH BACK to now. There I was sitting there looking at what a shit hole has Bukit Gasing has become. Inconsiderate assholes just throw their rubbish all around. Beer cans lying around, Styrofoam boxes with left over food lying around and finished packet drinks scattered all over the place. I actually saw a plastic bag hanging on a tree! and NO this is definitely not the work of the monkeys coz its within human reach. This was done by the real monkeys we call uncivilized humans or more like inconsiderate fools. On the other hand, what was the local authority doing? are they going to just leave a once great and clean place to rot?

Besides the upkeep, one thing that came into consideration was the insecurity that I felt when I went up there. This is what our country has became. We do not dare to walk alone outside anymore. When I was sitting there, I was looking out more for potential dangerous stranger rather than enjoying the peace and serenity of nature. I always have a feeling that someone will come and poke a knife at my and rob me mindless.

Not only at Bukit Gasing but most of the whole country. Do you realise that no one dare to walk alone unless they dont have a choice. When we go out, to quieter place we would be worried instead of excited or happy. With all the news on snatch theft and robbery it just creeps me out. So are we moving into a develop nation with the right mentality? NO!

It seems that we are moving backward instead. We are now looking more like the old west where there are outlaws robbing train with horses that we see on tv. Or like in the Chinese Movies during the Imperial times where there is road Robbers, where they will rob from people passing the area.

We are now living in a more scary and locked up environment. Why? Look at how many housing areas adopting the gated community system?! We are literary locking ourselves in. Which is so sad...

Yea we may have many wonderful structures such as KLCC, KLIA, TWIN TOWERS or KL TOWER, but just like the Bukit Gasing I know... it will all wither and rot away due to mentality of people and the authority taking care of it.

Unfortunately for the new generation, it has became a sad and pathetic world...

I shall leave you with this song which somehow says what I am feeling now...

There are times when you go through a really rough patch in life. Be it work, friends, personal or family. But if all comes at in one time and everything just dont gel or go in sync, it kinda screws you up mentally.

Its like trying to juggle so many different issues in one go. I am pretty sure most will say prioritize or just do it. But what if all of it plays a very important role in my life? or is very very dear to me? Its really an emotionally draining experience. Sometimes I just feel like crying or just run away from all of it and just be alone. But its just not it. We have responsibilities and it must be held right.

Things gets worse when you work so hard trying to make this life machine move like a well oiled machine. It may not be a Ferrari or a Kancil but if one part gets stuck and it jams down the whole process then its bad but what if one jam leads to another? and suddenly you are stranded in the highway of life where everyone is zooming past you and you are stuck there figuring how you can fix your car. Some can live with parts of their car spoiled but my car is different. Its like a korean made car where if one part spoiled, the whole area gets jammed too. It is a system where all is interconnected. That is how my car is built and it will always be.

But again, life is not like a car. You can change a car once its broken but you cant do that in life. Your only way is to painstakingly and patiently fix it and make sure it runs smoothly again. So for me now... life goes on and I will patiently try to fix this car of mine with love and passion and make sure it runs smoothly again...

Wow so fast one month has passed! god damn! i didnt even realised it until I saw the last post! been really bz with lotsa lotsa work and along with laziness, things just tend to drag on.

Anyway, I have encountered one really really irritating person today and that triggers my blogging cells to get excited. So, today I am dedicating this article to these heroes!

Case 1.

Have you ever encountered someone who "thinks" that he/she knows lotsa things and started to give "smart" comments on what you have been doing or involved in for lotsa years? I've encountered this fella today at a meeting. I was talking about my job and role in the radio station and out of the blue after I gave my presentation, this hero started asking questions. At first I was more than happy to answer his queries. Then more question came, but the manner of his question was very very offensive.. wait no, thick skull-ed and plain ignorant!! I was somehow taken aback but hey, again I was more then willing to answer him.

Then right after the meeting we had a drink and this smarty pants came to my table and sat beside me. The other members was happily asking me questions of my radio and its services and suddenly out of the blue this smarty pants came and started throwing facts about this radio he heard in New Zealand that is the best radio in the world and its the only radio that he only listens to now. Then I told him it is different here in Malaysia and how the behavior of the listeners cannot be compared to that of New Zealand or UK. Then he came back with the comment that saying Malaysian radio sucks. How he despise local radio. Now I am really annoyed and offended. He was shooting me there and then when he didnt even listen to my radio at all.

Wow! what an ass! But because it was a gentlemens meeting where we go there with goodwill to talk and exchange cards, I kept my cool. Then he kept on going on and on about how that stupid radio covers across all age group and even kids from 8 yrs old to oldies of 80 years old can call and give comment on the radio. Then I said that Malaysians are different. We are all pampered by those entertainment radio where when you on the radio the first thing that came to your mind was to get entertainments like music or stupid games played on air. It is a challenge to change the mindset of Malaysians to actually understand the true role of the radio. Which is the medium to broadcast information and not music.

Then this smarty pants continues saying that this radio have people that can talk the whole day about certain topics and they are very good coz you can ask them anything and you will be interested to listen to them even if you have no interest in the sports/ gardening or whatsoever before. Then I told him this is what we do, he interrupted me before I could explain what we do and he say no. "There is no radio in Malaysia that is doing that style". I stopped him there and then and say "I am not done yet sir, you have to listen to what I have to say first before you make any accusations". I was on the verge of telling him to fuck off and if you like New Zealand so much then why dont you go back to fucking New Zealand and stuff the kiwi up your arse using peter jackson;s boots!

This is what I hate about these fucktards that gone to other country for a few years and when they come back they have every thing to comment on the local stuffs and best of all, they dont even know what it is nor have they actually find out what we are first before they open their fucking piece of shit ass they call the mouth!

As civilised person I am, right after that session I bid him farewell gave him a smile and fucked off! knowing if I sat there any longer with this fucker I will most probably kick him and break his leg, put it back together and break it again!!

Case 2

Hmmm I am on a streak. So why not continue eh?

There is always this kind of dimweeds that thinks they are so god damn smart and simply make comments not knowing they are actually talking to the wrong person but still continue "commenting".

Once I was with my radio. We opened a booth in this event at PWTC. The people were friendly as we passed out brochures and explained who we are and what we do. Then out of a blue, another of this old fuck came out from the crowd and look at us. He was glowing with enthusiasm, smiling and looking very eager to talk to us. So I greet him with a nice hello and started explaining to him. Suddenly he cut me off and told me he knows who we are and he have a comment to make to us. As a good person I am, i told him to go ahead and tell us what was his comments.

He suddenly told us that he listens to us everyday and he finds our traffic announcer spelling the word wrong. At first I was happy he is a listener and secondly I was like what word? Then he told me "do you know it is spelled 'KL Lites'??", I was like "whertt???!!!" then he said its not call KL itis. Then i said he got it wrong it is DBKL ITIS as in Dewan Bandaraya Kuala Lumpur Intergrated Traffic Information System. Then he said we are wrong, it is still spelled KL Lites... then he followed up by saying ITIS means its a disease. Where he and his "doctor" friends was laughing when they hear this saying that kl is sick. Then he said that the girl that was announcing all the traffic news sounds good but she needs to spell it right. Then i realised that we dont have a girl reading traffic news.

Then I asked him when he listened, is it in English or BM? he said English! I told him he got the wrong station, that should be Lite fm or any radio from AMP and that lady is Priscilla Patrick. he insist it is us then I told him we dont have traffic news in English la "uncle". His wife got the message and gave us the "I am sorry my husband is a retarded ass" look and pulled his husband away. I really feel like throwing my bunting stand at him and say "UNCLE!!! YOU FUCKING RETARD!!! THIS IS BERNAMA RADIO24 LA! NOT LITE FM LA CIBAI!!!" but I didnt coz I am a civilised person.....

Thats the thing about some people, thinking that they know everything just because they want to be the smart one or cool one... but after talking out of their ass... they are more like the retarded one or so cool that they have a chunk of ice for a brain. They talk before they think or before they know any facts or before looking properly not knowing that they themselves are the joke of the whole freaking town! Get ur facts right first la, ass!!!
